					As a business leader and social entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in accountancy and corporate leadership, I founded GIN Investment Ltd. in 2004, driven by a vision to transform Tanzania’s urban environments into models of sustainability and equity. I have built it into one of Tanzania’s fastest-growing environmental services companies, specializing in innovative waste-to-resource technologies for municipal solid waste management, recycling, and environmental sanitation. Our operations have processed over 158,000 tons of waste annually and created over 201 permanent and 230 casual labour jobs, empowering local communities.

				    My leadership is fueled by a commitment to sustainable urban development and inclusive economic empowerment, particularly for women, youth, and marginalized groups, to foster thriving, equitable cities. This mission has driven GIN Investment’s expansion from a small start-up to a multi-regional leader, serving both public and private sectors in key municipalities like Dar es Salaam and Mwanza, with a unique focus on converting waste into valuable resources like compost and energy.
